DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE
‘Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other’. Abraham Lincoln
Looking back in time, I reminisce being confronted by challenging experiences and obstacles as Founder, Principal and now, Director of St John’s Co-Ed School. I was the Principal of the school from 2001 to 2010, at a time when the school was going through much turbulence, engulfed by gigantic and insurmountable challenges.
There’s much I’d like to say, but in essence all I ever wanted, and continue to want out of life, is to be committed to, and give the best to whatever I'm doing, and then let the results speak for themselves.
Establishing this school has been a joint venture of many hardworking, committed and supportive people, who placed their faith in the cause of education and focussed steadfastly on the vision of the school.
I’m thankful and grateful to God, whose Mighty Hand has perpetually been over us. On this note I’d also like to thank Late Mrs. A. Ireland, the Co-Founder of this Institution, and the entire family of St John’s Co- Ed School, staff, students, parents, friends, and well-wishers, who have contributed and assisted towards the establishment and progress of this institution in various ways. I’d also like to thank the support staff who have given unconditionally of their time and service over the years. All in all, we are now rated as one of the premium institutions of the city.
We fondly remember our very dear Late Mrs. O. Innis and Late Mr. D. A. Ireland. St John’s will always miss them as they were instrumental in shaping the destiny of the school. Though not with us now, their contribution to the school permeates the portals of this great Institution.
We have progressed immensely since the inception of this school and all our efforts are always directed towards providing quality education to our students, in conformity with modern school developments and teaching methodology.
I welcome all parents, students past and present, friends and well-wishers to visit the school from time to time. I once again reiterate that we are grateful for your continuous support and goodwill, which will assist in propelling the institution to greater heights.
As Chairman of the institution, I invoke God’s blessings and provision upon the school as it marches ahead into a promising future!
Mr. D. R. Innis Director
